Privacy
What this site collects, why, and how to change your mind.
This site belongs to Fletchwork Studio LLC, Orlando, Florida. I am Shahrum Amiri and I run it. Questions and requests go to [email protected].
Google Analytics
I use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and sections get read, where visitors came from, and how long they stay. In the UK, the EU, the EEA and Switzerland it runs after you accept and not before. Elsewhere it runs by default.
It sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last up to two years. Google receives your IP address to work out an approximate location; GA4 does not store IP addresses. Google signals and advertising features are off. Google keeps the event data for 14 months.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare hosts the site. Its Web Analytics counts visits without cookies. My own server-side log records the page, the country, the referring site and the device type, with no IP address and no cookie. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the contact form for bots.
The contact form
When you write to me through the form, your name, email, company (if you give one) and note are stored with Cloudflare so I can reply; the record also notes your country and browser type. You get a confirmation email too. I keep them until you ask me to delete them or I clear them myself. They are never sold and never used for ads.
The newsletter
Signing up sends your email to Substack, which runs the newsletter. Substack's own privacy policy covers it from there.
